Message from the Co-Presidents

Happy spring to our Strawberry Hill Community! We hope to see you and hear your voice at three upcoming events: 

  • March 27 at 7pm is our General PTO Meeting (agenda). Learn about the great IB work our school is doing and share your ideas on what a Strawberry Hill graduate should experience and become. Join in person at the Media Center or via Zoom.
  • April 3 at 7pm is the Joint Public Hearing of the Board of Finance and Board of Representatives on the Board of Education Budget. If you feel strongly that our schools deserve to be fully funded, please consider speaking at the meeting and writing to your representative or Board of Finance members. Please use/adapt/share these templates and resources, available in both English and Spanish. Information about elementary music programs are here as well. To find your City Representative, use this link. To speak on April 3, you must sign up by 5pm on April 3 online through either the Board of Reps or Board of Finance or via email or phone (Board of Finance, email: tdonoghue@stamfordct.gov or phone: 203-977-4699 or the Board of Representatives, email: bdreps@stamfordct.gov or phone: 203-977-4024). 
  • April 5th at 6pm is our school wide Multicultural Fair. Consider signing up to share a bit of your culture with our school community!

General PTO Meeting: March 27th

All are welcome!  Join us in the Strawberry Hill Media Center at the next General PTO Meeting on Wednesday, March 27 at 7pm. If you are coming in person you can bring your K-8 students for a free pizza and movie night. We will also have free pizza for all adults in attendance. Please register here for pizza and the movie by March 25th.

While your student is enjoying dinner and a movie, head over to the Strawberry Hill Media Center to participate in an interactive workshop called “Portrait of a Graduate”. A Spanish liaison will be there to help our Spanish-speaking families and we will have gently used uniforms to take home.

We will also have gently used uniforms available.

Apply Now! Strawberry Hill PTO 2024 Spring Funds for Enrichment

Have a great idea you'd love to incorporate at Strawberry Hill? Apply now! Click here for the application.

The PTO has set aside funds for activities, events, or items that contribute to the enrichment and education of our students, families and or staff. These applications will be looked over and go through a voting process by our Funds Committee. Not all applications are promised to be funded but we do encourage everyone who has an idea to submit an application! Students, parents, teachers and staff are all welcome to apply.

Multicultural Fair: April 5th

Calling all families!  The Multicultural Fair Committee is looking for ambassadors to share their culture at our Multicultural Fair! 

The Multicultural Fair is right around the corner and we'd love for you to share bit of your culture with our Strawberry Hill Community on April 5th!  Come be an Ambassador and create a display, share an activity or game, bring in a food for tasting, or perform an artistic piece!

  • Special Activities: seed bombs, rock painting, garden 


Students, parents, caregivers or staff can all volunteer to sort the donations on April 27th too. Look out for a sign-up to volunteer soon!

You can purchase labels for your student’s uniforms, water bottles, canisters and 20% of your purchase is paid to Strawberry Hill.  The labels are waterproof, dishwater and microwave safe.  Enter Strawberry Hill in the search box and you’re all set to shop labels to support our school. Our school’s Strawberry Logo is also available for printed labels in our special Label Pack.
